Gay marriage

I personally believe it is a very simple debate when we strip it down to its bare bones. You either believe all human beings have equal rights or you do not. To imply that a gay couple should not be allowed to marry is to imply that they are somehow subhuman, unworthy of entering into the manmade institution of marriage.

The so called ‘gay marriage’ question only exists among people who do not believe that all human beings are equal. Surely, that being said, the real argument should be, how is this sinister attitude allowed to legitimately exist in our society not should two men/ two women in love be allowed to marry?

I am heterosexual and I am pro equality, because of this, I support gay marriage. I hope you do the same.

The catholic church

Was the faith in which I was brought up, have unfortunately deemed transgender people to be ‘mentally incompetent’;

Well I don’t know how the rest of you feel, but my exam and college IQ tests suggest that I’m in the top 3% of British citizens, in terms of general intelligence and academic achievement - God only knows what percentile I’d be in if I was ‘competent’.

Whatever your church/family/so-called-friends throw at you, don’t ever believe any of their nonsense, in coming out and seeking help you’ve already proved yourself to be more mentally ‘competent’ than many of them will do in a life time. Chins up!

Transgender people of the world

Whatever you do, make sure you make a success of your life;

It really pisses off right-wing people when we do that. Happy face.

Born a woman

Actually, I was born a baby. I’m no midwife, but I would imagine very few people are born grown women.

Just sayin’

Every person on this planet…

Will alter their appearance to suit their personality. With every haircut, piercing, change of clothes or application of make up we attempt to reflect on the outside who we are on the inside.

Through no fault of our own, trans people must go a little further to reach that inside/outside harmony. That’s all we’re doing. Nothing more, nothing less.

Short poem - Tranny

Shout from the rooftops, with no reservation,

The ultimate slur of self deprecation,

A word to abuse, to butcher and maim,

The same souls who now pretend to reclaim,

And in moments of weakness and anger revert,

To a word created for one purpose, to hurt.

If you are going ‘stealth’ in the workplace

It’s sometimes worth considering telling your employers/colleagues you have hypergonadism, a condition with hormone related symptoms which mirror those of a transman in the early stages of testosterone treatment. E.g. a lack of visible testosterone/male characteristics and as both are treated with testosterone and require time for blood tests/endocrine examinations, it can be a useful cover.

The T Word

It’s so easy to get depressed realising how many, ‘pro-equality’ comedians/actors/panelists have used this word for a cheap laugh. Still, I like to think in time we’ll be vindicated,

n’night everyone
